Assembly of automatic aRTG cranes
At the Baltic Hub, the installation of automatic aRTG yard cranes for operation at the T2 terminal is underway. The cranes are equipped with additional automation systems to support their operation and are powered by electricity.
The first aRTG cranes at Baltic Hub were assembled in March, and the last ones will be assembled in the summer.
In the next stage, the cranes will be commissioned, tested and integrated into our systems.
The introduction of automated cranes to the terminal is another step towards reducing CO2 emissions at Baltic Hub.
